Website Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy applies to the website www.rycb.tech operated by RYCB Studio ("we", "us"). It explains what information we collect when you browse this site, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Note: This policy covers website visits only. For telemetry and data handling inside the PML 2 desktop client, see the PML 2 Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to every page we serve, including the home page, product pages, the download page and preview pages. This site offers no account registration, sign-in or online payment, so we never collect account credentials or payment details.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Server and hosting logs

The site runs on the Vercel edge network. As with virtually any website, the infrastructure provider processes the technical metadata required to deliver requests, defend against attacks and diagnose failures (such as IP address, request time and User-Agent). That processing is governed by Vercel's own privacy policy and retention rules.

2.2 Site analytics (Microsoft Clarity)

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our pages so we can improve page structure, download guidance and documentation navigation.

What is collected

  • Page URLs, referring page and visit time
  • Device type, operating system, browser and screen size
  • Interaction behaviour: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and time on page
  • Page structure (DOM) recorded so that a session can be replayed as it rendered

What is never recorded

  • The contents of every form input are always masked by Clarity — we cannot see any text you type
  • This site has no account or payment flow, so no passwords or tokens exist to be captured
  • Clarity does not record your name, email address or other identifying details

Identifiers and cookies

Clarity sets first-party cookies in your browser (_clck and _clsk) to distinguish unique visitors and to link several pages into a single session. These random identifiers contain no name or email address.

How it loads

The Clarity script loads asynchronously after the page has finished loading. It never blocks rendering and does not affect download speed.

Processor and retention

Data is processed by Microsoft (Clarity) and stored in Microsoft Azure. Regular session replays are kept for 30 days; favourited or randomly sampled replays are kept for up to 9 months.

See: Microsoft Privacy Statement · Clarity Terms of Use · What data Clarity collects

3. What We Do Not Do

  • We never sell visitor data
  • We serve no advertising and perform no cross-site tracking
  • Apart from Microsoft Clarity, this site loads no other third-party analytics or marketing scripts
  • We do not link analytics data to your identity (we hold no identity information about you)

4. Your Choices

4.1 Do Not Track

If your browser sends Do Not Track (DNT: 1), we do not load Clarity at all, so no analytics requests are made.

4.2 Other options

  • Use your browser's private/incognito mode, or clear this site's cookies
  • Install a content blocker (for example an ad-blocking extension)
  • Opt out of Clarity telemetry through Microsoft's industry opt-out mechanism

4.3 Data deletion requests

Because Clarity sessions cannot be deleted for a single visitor, please contact us if you know you submitted sensitive content during a visit. After verification we will delete the corresponding project data.

5. Children

This site is not directed at minors. Under Clarity's terms of use the service must not be deployed on sites aimed at users under 18. If you are a minor, please browse this site with the guidance of a guardian.

6. Storage and Security

  • Analytics data is stored by Microsoft in its cloud infrastructure; we only view aggregate results through the Clarity dashboard
  • This site is static content only and stores no form submissions from visitors
  • We protect dashboard access with access controls, but no internet environment can be guaranteed absolutely secure

7. Policy Updates

This policy may change as the site evolves; the current version will always be published on this page. If a change introduces new data collection, we will announce it prominently on this site.
